Hotel Accomodations

Bi-Society Course participants should utilize the ESCCA hotel arrangments listed below.

Events by TLC has been appointed as the official ESCCA hotel booking agent. Rooms in three hotels have been taken into option at reduced conference rates. For the booking procedure, see further below.

LISBON MARRIOTT HOTEL****
Distance: 20 minutes by bus from Lisbon Congress Centre (bus 756) or 15 minutes by taxi; 10 minutes from Lisbon Airport. 
Location: Conveniently located within easy reach of the airport yet just a few minutes drive from the centre of town.
Facilities: Large outdoor pool, fitness room, business centre, restaurant, lobby bar & Executive lounge.

HOTEL ALTIS PARK***
Distance: 40 minutes by bus from Lisbon Congress Centre (bus 756) or 20 minutes by taxi; 10 minutes from Lisbon Airport. 
Location: Located near the Parque das Nacoes, 10 minutes from Lisbon airport (5 km), Altis Park Hotel is situated on one of Lisbon's seven hills with breathtaking views overlooking the city and the Tagus River. The Olaias Metro Station (red line) with a direct line to the Parque das Nacoes (Oriente Station) and Lisbon International Airport is located only a few metres away.
Facilities: Garage parking, Restaurant and Bar. Situated only 100 metres from the Hotel Altis Park, the Olaias Club sports complex has two swimming pools, tennis courts, squash, health club with gym, sauna, Hammam, jacuzzi, hairdresser and shops. Special conditions to Hotel Guests.

Besides the hotels mentioned above, the four star hotel JERONIMOS 8 has offered a limited nummer of rooms. This boutique otel is located 2 km from the conference centre in the historical area of Belém. Rooms should be reserved directly with the hotel! For more information see further below. 

 Important!

  • A limited number of rooms have been taken into option until 1 June 2014. Hotel bookings will be treated in order of receipt, and as long as there is availability in the room allotment.
  • The official reservation deadline is 1 June 2014. After that date rooms will be released for public sale and can only be confirmed upon availability.

How to book:

  • Download the hotel reservation form HERE
  • Send the completed form by email or fax to Events by TLC (contact details on the form).
  • By submitting your reservation form you agree with the conditions of reservation and cancelation policy as specified on page 3 of the hotel reservation form.
  • A deposit of 1 night is required to guarantee your room. Upon receipt of the deposit, we will confirm your reservation. The hotels will only accept reservations with a credit card guarantee and a deposit of 1 night.
  • The balance of your stay should be paid directly to the hotel, deposit deducted.

HOTEL JERONIMOS 8

This charming hotel offers a reduced rate  to ESCCA participants: € 150 per room per night. Please see here for more details on this hotel or check their website.

Conditions:

  • Rooms can only be confirmed based on availability.
  • The above mentioned special rate is valid for reservations received until 15 June 2014

  • These conditions will not apply to reservations made through other channels and are limited to a maximum of 5 rooms per request.
  • To guarantee the reservations the hotel requires credit card details (number, expiry date and CCV; please send your CCV code with a separate email or provide it by phone!).
  • Cancelation within less than 1 week prior to arrival or no-show: 100% of the stay value will be charged on the credit card.
  • Payment will be made directly to the hotel during the stay.
